Advanced electrolysis
Advanced Cosmetic Electrolysis (Cosmetic Blemish removal) is used to treat a variety of skin complaints: Facial Thread Veins - Red Thread Veins - Age Spots - Spider Veins - Skin Tags - Hair from Moles - Milia (Whiteheads) - Blood Spots - Pigmentation Marks
Thread Veins are permanently dilated capillaries. They have very thin walls which constantly dilate and constrict. These are removed by putting the Electrolysis needle onto the vein (not inserting) before the current is released, cauterising the vein. This allows blood to come to the surface forming a small scab which soon fades away.
Skin tags are usually found under the bust or around the neck area. This as it states, is just an extra piece of skin usually brought on by clothes chaffing constantly. These are removed by the current being passed through the neck of the tag, they then fall off after a couple of days.
Milia are found commonly around the eye area and look like whiteheads but are very hard and impossible to squeeze. They are just a build up of the skins natural oil, sebum, which goes hard when it oxidises. To remove these the current is passed into the milia and it desiccates it allowing it to disappear by itself after a couple of days.
Blood Spots are bright red vascular blemishes which lie just under the surface of the skin. They are dome shaped or slightly raised and are most common on the trunk or torso and particularly the midriff back or front.
